The thoughts of a 20-year-old who sometimes feels her life only
revolves around school, work, and mostly shidduchim. Get ready for some drama!
get a background under main column - very hard to read - text mixes with page background. Everything else is ok for girlish design of blog.
Hard to read.
a little too busy, would rather focus on the words
I much prefer the content to the design ;)I'm not a fan of white on black blogs... it messes up my vision for a while.
i said yes cuz i didnt really analyze it as much as these ppl did. i think its cute and pretty and i dont have a hard time reading it
Did you just switch it? Cause it looks much wider now...
site under construction!
i need feedback? do you like the new site?
yup except for light pink in the poll results and light grey in some places. Everything else is different now, but not bad. I liked dark BG more though :)
its so cute now!!!
thanks Espes (and all the rest of you who gave feedback)! I really appreciate it :)
Wow, like the new design a lot!
i cant see the updated version-its all dark to me-how can i correct that. btw ive been following your blog since you started-i love it!
cool changes! ;)
Anonymous 11:17I'm sorry that you're having trouble viewing... everyone else seems to be ok with it. so im not sure what the issue is. thanks for following my blog. maybe make a username so i can keep track of which anonymous you are? :)SD:thank you! im so glad you like it!!
Oh, I like it soooo much better.I actually think it reflect "you" better too ;)
G6:How do you know "me"? :)
The "you" I meant, which is why I put it in quotes, was referring to your blog persona....
I got that... but how can you tell from my blog what kind of style i have?
Style is more than just clothing or design. There's style of writing, style of humor, etc.
i like it. i think this way is better. the side patterns don't go well with the middle background, but still not bad
Harry:"not bad"- i'll take it as a compliment :)
what i meant was i like the background, just don't know how well it goes with the side. not bad means that its nice, just not amazing[takes his left foot out of his mouth to switch to right foot]
lol ok... fine. can't please everyone, right?
and hes a guy, so what does he know? ;-P
cool background, it's easy to read. But I did like the other one a lot, I remember the first time I came to your blog, my first impression was that I loved the background, it reminded me of a background I once chose for something. Although the reading wasn't the easiest, it still wasn't hard. Now it's much clearer to read though. Harry-er: I know I didn't reply back to the comments on my post yet, so I didn't explain the girl/guy thing fully. But here's a perfect example of the girl and guy in practice.Espes is the girl, and she cared about Tembow's feelings in her comment.Harry-er, the guy makes his comments based on justice, what he sees and feels, so he was honest in saying "not bad". It's not that one way is better than the other, it's just different ways of reacting, and generally it follows this rule. Although not always so. I didn't make up the generalization.
and just to clarify (based on JSB's statements)... no feelings were hurt at all in this discussion. it was purely a survey to find out if people liked the design of my blog. period.
oh, and also-the middle does go well with the side because it's the same texture :)
Tembow: right of course about the feelings, didn't mean to imply that the "not bad" comment would hurt your feelings.
i know, i was kinda joking, but just wanted to clarify.i'm a big girl!
Hey - sorry I'm late but just wanted to add my comment...I like the new look - and it's much clearer and easier to read! It's a great change! : )
thank you!!!! i love comments like that :)
i recently picked up "as a gentleman would say" and the answer to the age-old question 'do i look fat?' apparently is "you're a great looking woman. If you've gained a little weight, you've got the style to carry it off"so tembow "you've got the style to pull it off"(sometimes i crack myself up)
harry- no, the answer to "do i look fat?" is always: "whhhhattt??? no not at all, i was just going to ask if u LOST weight!"
apparently not. first of all why lie if she knows the truth anyhow. and it is a kinder way of saying you look good. your response is one of the examples of what a gentleman does not say.
i guess i dont want a gentleman. i just want a guy who will lie to make me feel good lol
im not sure which answer i'd rather... on one hand, i'd want him to lie and tell me how great i look. on the other hand, i want to know the truth because not everyone is as forgiving as he is- other people will notice and NOT like it
