As long as it's not a really messed up situation of course I would. People make mistakes, why should they be punished or ostracized? I know several people who have had broken engagements and they all say the same thing, "B"H people go out with me. If they didn't how would I ever get married?"
ditto to something different. broken engagements are sooo much more common now (unfortunately). i actually just went out with a guy who has a broken engagement.
I guess it would depend on who broke it and how it was broken.
I went out with a fabulous guy who was engaged before. He was a huge mentch who happened to have suffered thru a broken engagement. Unless the boy or his family have some issue that caused the engagement to be broken, or if they're just not nice people, what's the big deal?
A broken engagement is not enough of a reason to say no - although I will think twice (as I do before any person I'd go out with) and over here, I would try find out why it happened... There are plenty of people (unfortunately) who have had broken engagements and they are still wonderful people and deserve a fair shot. After finding out the reason why it happened, if it is an okay reason given (and I may or may not find out the REAL reason), I would go out. Going out doesn't mean you have to marry them! It's a date - that's only step one.
It's a good thing I saw this before, so I had time to think about it and form an opinion. Cause I was asked this question recently, so I decided to be open about it, and ask for information.

Probably yes..
It really depends on the circumstances that let to it.
I would dig into details of why that happened, but anyway you don't lose much.

SD--
I think so. He was really great. But he was one of those who said no to me after a few dates :-) Oh, well
:-D
CP-
im glad you still think he's great even after he said no to you... some girls aren't like that
Argh. Some girls can be so petty.
He's a nice guy, period.
Why should the fact that he said no make him the big bad wolf? He's not for me. That's all :-)
CP- so who is his PR rep?
good attitude
yeah, SD, i wanna go out with this guy lol
If he is good enough to turn down CP he must be really really really good, huh? ;-)
you bet!
or he could be seriously stuck up. Kinda like TBB.....
but TBB wouldn't get stuck-up because he's TBB (come on, we discussed this already :)
But if he *thinks* he is TBB but really he has an inflated ego.... sigh. You are right. We exhausted this topic already.
yeah we don't want the guy who *thinks* he is TBB, we want *the real* TBB
at least do! so i guess we'll have to fight for him!! lol
